PROJECT: PUBLIC TOILET
At RotaryHonavar, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. We recognized the requirement for clean Public Toilet in our area and through cooperation of our community we facilitated the same. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
VIDYA SETU BOOK
DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM
A total of 27 representatives of kannada medium government schools and aided schools were present to collect the books. The list of the schools and number of students and number of books distributed is attached in a picture A total number of 22 Rotarians took active part in this project. The following Rotarians have come forward to donate for this project. Total cost of the project was INR 90000.00 only ( Ninety Thousand rupees only). Totally 1478 students will benefit in Honnavar Taluk for X Std. . The meeting ended with a high tea party arranged for the gathering.
CATARACT EYE SURGERY CAMP
The massive eye operation camp organized by the club in 1968 with the co-operation of Padmashree Dr. M.C Modi and his team is one of the significant achievements of early days of the club. Eye clinic is something we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. On 20.05.2022, we organized a cataract eye surgery camp at St Ignatius Hospital. Dr Narendra Shenoy was the doctor from Udupi. Around 120 members were screened and 36 patients were operated.
CRICKET MATCH CONDUCTED BY ROTARY
In an effort to build the image of Rotary Honavar, a Taluka level Cricket tournament was conducted by Rotary Club, Honavar. 19 teams participated. Winners received the award.
